Q. HOW MANY PEOPLE WOULD YOU RECOMMEND FOR A PARTY AT BRISTOL REPTILE ENCOUNTERS?A. We recommend having up to 15 people for our 1-hour parties at Bristol Reptile Encounters. This ensures that everyone has ample time to interact with our fascinating reptiles and enjoy a personalised experience. While we can accommodate more guests, please note that additional time may be required to ensure that all attendees get a chance to engage with our animals. This recommendation helps us provide a great experience for your group.

Q. ARE THE ANIMAL ENCOUNTERS AT BRISTOL REPTILE ENCOUNTERS SAFE FOR VISITORS AND THE ANIMALS?A. Yes, the animal encounters at Bristol Reptile Encounters are designed with safety as the utmost priority. We strictly allow only one animal per handler during interactions to ensure a controlled and manageable environment. Each handler is thoroughly trained to understand the behaviours and needs of the animals they work with. This expertise allows them to respond appropriately to any situation, ensuring both the safety and well-being of the animals and our visitors. Our handlers are committed to doing what is right for the animals, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone involved.

Q. WHAT AGES CAN GET INVOLVED?A. Anyone from age 3 and up can interact with our animals. We have a special package for the 3–5-year-olds birthday party. Anyone on the gold or platinum party packages must be over 6 years old. For our events, anyone over the age of 3.

Q. DO YOU JUST DO CHILDREN'S PARTIES?A. NO! We do just as many adult parties as we do children's parties!

Q. WHAT HAPPENS AT THE PARTY?A. We normally have everyone in a half circle or around the edge of the room. We would then bring the birthday person up to the front to experience the animal first, and then we would let the others experience the animal.

Q. DO YOU COVER MY AREA?A. We can cover the whole of the UK. However, there would be additional mileage fees for events and parties outside of Bristol. Please contact us for more details.

Q. CAN I CHOOSE WHAT ANIMALS YOU BRING TO AN EDUCATIONAL EVENT OR DISPLAY?A. Unfortunately, we are unable to guarantee the specific animals that will be available for educational events or displays. While we cannot provide a 100% guarantee on the exact animals that will be present, we are more than happy to take requests. We will do our best to accommodate your preferences, ensuring a diverse and engaging experience for all attendees. At Bristol Reptile Encounters, our priority is to provide a safe and educational encounter with a variety of reptiles, enhancing understanding and appreciation for these fascinating creatures.

By booking a service with us, you agree to the following.

All events are subject to availability.

By purchasing our services, you agree to the following:

• Any deposit is nonrefundable
​
• All events/parties need to be fully paid 1 day before your event/party; if not paid 1 day before your party/event will be cancelled. (unless agreed otherwise)
​
• A deposit is required to secure your date, and until the deposit is taken, the event is not booked
​
All events will have an experienced member of staff always present.
​
We cannot guarantee what animals will be attending your event; however, we will contact you 1 day before your event to let you know what animals we are anticipating bringing to the event. This is subject to change if the animal’s health decline or other animal-related conditions (eg, the animal is too stressed for the journey).

At all events/parties, the animals we bring are subject to availability.
​
Our animals are our top priority, and if the animals get too stressed when they are being shown, the animal will go back into their travel crate.
​
We reserve the right to cancel any event that does not have a suitable venue. E.g. only outdoor space in the winter, not enough space to safely continue the event.
​
All animal interactions are done so at your own risk. Animals can/do bite, and we cannot guarantee the animals will not bite. If a bite does happen, our staff will make the animal safe, then deal with the bite.
​
We cannot accept liability for any damages caused by the animals. This includes, but is not limited to clothing, furniture and flooring.
If any person doesn’t listen to our handlers, the event will be cancelled, with no refund. This is to safeguard our animals.
​
Bristol Reptile Encounters Limited will not accept any responsibility for anyone under the age of 18. At all events, under-18s need to always have supervision from someone over the age of 18.
​
We will arrive 15 minutes before the event to set up and to bring the animals into the event.
